Deleting account

How to delete your account

You can delete your Keen account and associated data at any time.

In the app

1. Tap your avatar on Home to open Profile
2. Scroll to the bottom
3. Tap Delete account
4. Confirm when prompted

Deletion is permanent. Your account, profile, and associated data are removed from Keen. You are signed out immediately.

Can’t access the app?

Use the account deletion request page to email us a deletion request. Include the email address linked to your Keen account.

What is deleted

• Profile (name, username, photo)
• Preferences and calibration settings
• Friendships and friend connections
• Sign-in sessions and push notification tokens

What may be retained

• Shared content - Messages, plans, and memories shared with others may still be visible to other participants, but are no longer linked to your name or profile.
• Internal records - An anonymized account identifier may be kept for database integrity.
• Aggregated analytics - Usage data that cannot identify you individually may be retained.

Before you delete

• If you only want to sign out on this device, use Log out instead
• To report a problem rather than leave, try Contact support first

Changed your mind

Account deletion can’t be undone. You’d need to create a new account and re-add friends.
