Friend requests

To add someone on Keen:

1. Open the Chats tab
2. Search by name or username in the header, or switch to the Friends segment
3. Send a friend request

They must accept before you’re connected.

Managing requests

On the Friends segment in Chats, tap the friend-requests icon to see incoming and outgoing requests. Accept or decline incoming ones; cancel outgoing requests if needed.

Inviting to a plan

You can only invite Keen friends to a plan. If someone isn’t on Keen yet, they’ll need to sign up and accept your friend request first - then you can add them from the plan summary.

Inviting to a chat

Start a new chat from Chats → + and select friends. You can also share activities and plans into existing chats.

Group chats

Add multiple friends to one conversation. Edit the group name and members from the chat settings screen.

If someone didn’t get your plan

• Confirm they’re on your friends list
• Confirm they were selected on Who’s Keen? or added from the plan summary
• Check the plan’s chat - the plan card should appear there
• They’ll also see the plan on Home → Plans if they were invited
