Notifications

What notifications cover

Keen may notify you about:

• Friend requests - someone wants to connect
• Plan updates - changes to plans you’re part of
• Chat activity - new messages (depending on your device settings)
• Other alerts - relevant activity in the app

Viewing notifications

Tap the bell icon in the Chats tab header to open your notification list. Unread count appears on the bell.

Device settings

Keen uses your phone’s notification system. To turn notifications off entirely or adjust sounds and banners:

• iOS - Settings → Notifications → Keen
• Android - Settings → Apps → Keen → Notifications

Disabling notifications in system settings won’t delete your account or affect in-app data.

Not getting notifications?

• Check system notification permissions for Keen
• Ensure you’re signed in and the app is up to date
• Check Do Not Disturb / Focus modes on your device
