Decide what to do
The hardest part of making a plan is often deciding what to do. Keen has a few ways to help groups get unstuck.
Home → Ideas
Open the Home tab and switch to Ideas. Browse activity cards, or search by typing what you’re in the mood for in the header. Activity cards show which friends might enjoy each suggestion.
Ask Keen
When you know the feeling but not the activity:
- Open Home → Plans and tap Ask Keen on the suggestion banner (or open it while planning from the Keen button)
- Tap vibe cards — Rested, Grounded, Connected, Creative, Energised, or Adventure
- Or type a prompt — “lazy sunday with friends”, “somewhere with good cocktails”, “kid-friendly afternoon”
- Tap Generate
Keen creates suggestions based on your input. Pick one and keep planning.
Toggle Nearby Places to link ideas to real venues. Toggle My Ideas to search only what you’ve already saved.
Your saved ideas
Check Home → Ideas — tap the Saved collage at the top. You may have already bookmarked something perfect and forgotten about it.
Ask in chat
Sometimes the move is social, not algorithmic. Drop a question in a group chat - “anyone keen for something low-key this week?” - and save the best suggestion as an idea when it lands.
Stuck inside a group chat? Tap the Keen button in the chat header — it opens recommendations tailored to the people in that conversation.
Calibration
Keen learns your preferences from onboarding sliders (sociality, novelty, energy, etc.).
Recommendations improve the more you save ideas and make plans.
